Antique picture frame, solid wood with heavy compo/gesso in high relief on the surround. The frame measures 23″ x 27″ x 3 deep. Inside opening is 19 1/4″ x 15 3/8″. Surround is painted leaves, with leaves and flowers on the inner moldings. There are small fissure cracks in gesso consistent with age of piece. The frame itself dates to the late 1800’s. It is solid, weighing 12 1/2 pounds. T his is a H. DeNunzio Canvas Transfer Masterpiece of. Museum Quality mounted in a stunning antique frame. An original Oil Replica By H. Canvas itself measures 17″ long and 21 1/2″ tall. Weight of piece is 12 1/2 pounds. Frame is in very great condition as well as the reproduction. The original was made in 1789.
