This process simply requires that some metal hardware framing brackets be screwed or drilled into the frame. Again, the hardware is commonly found at a hobby, craft, or hardware store. Step Four: Adding Hanging Hardware. This is the easiest step. Simply attach the hanging hardware to the back using a tape measure for centering accuracy.     Hello, you are viewing my sale for an Original Antique S. Fiordimalva 1936 Painted and Signed Oil Painting on Canvas. The women are nude and are brought in front of the King for his approval. This is a highly detailed painting. This painting is contained inside of a Gilded Gold Wood Frame. This is a large oil painting on canvas. This painting with the frame weighs 7.6 pounds and measures 40 and 7/8″ wide by 27 and 5/8″ tall 2 thick. The painting by itself measures 36″ wide by 23″ tall. There is wear and damage present to this painting which I have shown in my photographs. There are tears present as well as some holes. It appears that there may have been some repairs done many years ago. The painting is nailed to the frame with an extreme amount of nails. This type of framing was only done with a master art painting or a very expensive painting. This quite possibly may be a Museum Quality Painting from a Superior Artist. I will let you judge that. This is a stunning master oil painting that needs some restoration to bring it back to the glory that it once possessed. This is a one-of-a-kind painting from a Master Artist.
