Roberto Lupetti Original Nude Oil Painting. Absolutely stunning original nude oil on canvas painting by Italian artist Roberto Lupetti. The painting is of a nude female figure from the back. Predominate colors are dark red-browns, yellow ochre and pinks. The painting is signed on the front as well as the back, with the artist’s fingerprint and the bank stamp. The canvas measures 17.5″ wide x 35.5″ high. The overall framed picture measures 27″ wide x 45″ high. The canvas is in excellent condition. The frame is in excellent condition, except for a slight rubbed spot on the bottom corner and a small fleck of missing paint (see pics). Born in Milan, Italy on Dec. Lupetti studied at the Royal Academy in Rome and was apprenticed to the school of restoration at the Vatican. Following service in WWII, he moved to San Francisco where he taught at the Art Institute. As well as decorating churches throughout the U.
