The process from start to finish can be done in four steps after the initial materials purchasing. There are many online videos showing how to do each step of this process. The items needed for such a project are in bold letter below. If you use a 20×24 or a 24×36 inch painting, you can easily select an assembled frame from a big box hobby store. Step One: Preparing the Canvas. So as to seal in the paint and protect your art piece from dust, you can put several coats of. Acrylic varnish on it with a sponge or paint brush.
