This painting was given to me in the early 1980s for my bedroom wall when I was in high school. At furniture stores and mid-range department stores. There actually was no individual artist “Letterman”; that’s just how they were signed. I may be a bit biased, but I think this one is particularly good. It’s obviously inspired by the Hungarian-French artist Victor Vasarely, a pioneer of Op Art. It’s a wonderful and fairly rare vintage piece that captures the spirit of its time with its supergraphic geometry and 1970s earth tones. I’ve enjoyed it and I’d like someone new to appreciate it.
