One of the pieces from his estate, there is added value in knowing that this piece once hung in the home of this great designer of the story book style of Disney architecture begun in the 1920s in the Hollywood Bohemian era, and his work for Walt Disney as a personal friend and designer of the Disneyland castle. This piece of art is was from his grandson Steven Hill, who indicated that this piece belonged to his grandfather, and upon his information and all belief, was brought back by his grandfather from France after world war one. Roland visited France several times throughout his art career, throughout the 1920s, 30s, 40s and 50s. Extra care must be taken to package this stunning and rare piece of art.
