Twentieth Century French impressionist artist. Considered to be the founder of this movement. Bold use of colors, texture and composition for this painting. Paint has heavy texture throughout – see detailed photos. Overall in good condition, canvas is intact – see above for condition details. Currently stretched, but NOT framed, no frame included. Painting shown complete in 2nd photo. Has signature on front. The canvas measures 20×24 inches. It has been a passion of ours but now lack of space forces sales. Unfortunately (as we are finding out) many of these came with no history, or previous owner’s history which we now understand would add more value to the artwork. At the time we just acquired it for it’s appeal. You can try to authenticate the artwork if that’s your prerogative, but we’ve heard it can be an expensive proposition.
