Emperor’s New Clothes, Original Oil Painting, Life Size, 36×48, Canvas, Gallery
Emperor’s New Clothes, Original Oil Painting, Life Size, 36″x48″, Canvas. I was drawn to oil painting because of the expressive qualities I can create. Communicating my feelings of the moment through paint is my goal. What is going on in the World around us is important to me. The meditative feel of moving paint around a canvas and the therapeutic application of color is what I crave. I’m drawn to impressionist painting, inspired by Post Impressionism. Van Gogh, Renoir, Degas, Lucian Freud and Jenny Saville are inspirations. Showing the viewer part of the story and letting them form their own impression is my goal. I intend to infuse humor, story telling, abstract and detail elements in my paintings. Animal and figurative portraits inspire me and give voice to some of the most important emotions of the human condition. Artist working in St. Originally a graphic designer/illustrator. The process from start to finish can be done in four steps after the initial materials purchasing. There are many online videos showing how to do each step of this process. The items needed for such a project are in bold letter below. If you use a 20×24 or a 24×36 inch painting, you can easily select an assembled frame from a big box hobby store. Step One: Preparing the Canvas. So as to seal in the paint and protect your art piece from dust, you can put several coats of. Acrylic varnish on it with a sponge or paint brush. This product also comes in a spray can. Step Two: Stretching the Painting Canvas. We strongly suggest that you watch a video on this step. Again, it’s not complicated. It is very straightforward. You will need stretcher bars, wood glue (optional), a staple gun with staples, and canvas pliers. Step Three: Attaching the Stretched Canvas to the Frame. This process simply requires that some metal hardware framing brackets be screwed or drilled into the frame. Again, the hardware is commonly found at a hobby, craft, or hardware store. Step Four: Adding Hanging Hardware. This is the easiest step. Simply attach the hanging hardware to the back using a tape measure for centering accuracy. Handing hardware is easily found at all retail stores with a hardware department. Now simply enjoy your beautiful framed painting. You will want to do many more as gifts, we promise. Slava Ilyayev Evening Stroll Rare Original Oil Painting (36×48)
A very rare, large, and beautiful original by Slava Ilyayev. Slava Ilyayev was born in 1970 in Baku, Azarbeijan former U. Ilyayev learned at the Academy for plastic art in Baku and later, in 1995, upon immigrating to Israel, continued his studies at the Avni Institute for art in Tel Aviv. Since 1998, Ilyayev teaches art at various schools and academies in Israel while continuing his own artistic life. In 1999 Slava Ilyayev participated in two major shows in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem where, for the first time, his artworks were on display to the public. Slava Ilyayev’s works are unique in the structure of the color which is raised above the canvas. His compositions of light and shadow are affected by the transitions of the seasons of the year. Slava uses palette-knife instead of regular brushes to put oil on canvas which creates a special and heavy texture. His works have been shown in various groups and one-man exhibitions throughout Israel, Europe, and the USA. This would be an incredibly beautiful addition to a private collection or a very thoughtful Christmas gift for a very special person.
