This painting is signed by the artist on the reverse along with his Sacramento address. It is in it’s original period hardwood frame and liner. Good sized, the painting measures 18 x 24 inches, with frame it is 19 1/2 x 25 1/2 inches. Both painting and frame are in excellent condition, the frame does not bow in at center, this is a camera lens illusion. He had numerous one-man exhibits and participated in many other open exhibits. After settling in Utah, he was very active in the Ogden area arts for many years, teaching adjunct classes for Weber State and Utah State Universities. His work has been featured and published in several publications, notably “Artists of Utah” and in 1966, “La Revue Modern” in Paris. R/E or Renaissance Editions are considered to be the most valuable of the reproductions. R/E paintings were also released in batches of approximately six percent of the S/N editions. The difference is that the Master Highlighter took steps to mimic Kinkade’s brushstrokes so the painting most closely resembles the original.
