Original antique Oil Painting — unsigned — painting circa 1890s — wonderful rendering of three Barn Swallows soaring above a pond of large blooming Water Lilies — either the inspiration for or inspired by a very popular’Yard-Long’ chromolithograph print from the late 1800s [shown in the last picture: picture found online and Not included] — — done in oil on stretched canvas — the painting measures 14 by 28 in. / the period frame measures about 20 by 34 in. It is possibly original to this painting. A couple of splits in the canvas repaired from behind with tape — likely could use cleaning as could most old paintings — frame has some moderate wear with a chip or two in the edge — — we are always listing interesting Works of Art.
