This listing is for the Large 18th C. French Portrait of a Young Lady / Shepherdess pictured above. A beautiful 18th century French portrait of a young shepherdess with a sheep. The young lady wears a green dress adorned with elaborate gilt decoration, bows, and white lace. She also wears a straw hat tilted sideways and decorated with matching bows. She is sitting next to a sheep with one hand on the sheeps head and the other holding her crook. The portrait appears to be unsigned and is an oil on canvas.
